Bobcat presents its new mini-excavators R series of 2-4 tons

The machinery manufacturer Bobcat launches the new range of mini-excavators R series of 2-4 tons, which includes five compact models (E26, E27z, E27, E34 and E35z) that combine digging strength, stability, flexible control of work functions and reduced weight to facilitate transportation. They also incorporate many avant-garde functions and high levels of quality and resistance. The new excavators employ newly developed flexible machine platforms to achieve different configurations of models and specifications suitable for a wide variety of applications and needs. Designed at the European Bobcat Innovation Center for European customers, the new excavators have a completely new cab, with more space for the operator, superior interior, larger windows and narrower pillars for visibility at all the directions are better. They also offer improvements for the entry and exit to the machine thanks to the new ergonomic 3D handles and a wider door. The cab provides low levels of noise and vibration, and includes new joysticks and a new system of optimized metallic displacement pedals. The operator has up to five independent auxiliary hydraulic circuits and a new and exclusive 'selectable auxiliary control' (SAC) system for customizable joystick controls, which allow you to select or change the control pattern for the auxiliary lines, in order to work with the most advanced implements in the most comfortable way. The new range also includes the concept of pen design with internal cylinder (CIB), which guarantees a solid and innovative protection of the boom cylinder as part of a reinforced work group aimed at reducing the slack as much as possible and improve durability. Excavators can have a display on the Deluxe control panel, which provides additional information to facilitate troubleshooting, and the new optional selectable auxiliary control system (SAC). The engines of all models are still mechanically injected and easy to maintain and meet the future European regulations on phase V emissions. Clive Kilford, R-series Program Manager, comments: "The real challenge was to create something that was better than the current series, which has proven to be one of the best in the industry. The analysis of each piece has allowed us to make a hundred improvements, always thinking of the operator ".
